B.A.T.C.K CHAPTER 9

CHAPTER 9
(Martyn)
Martyn watched in awe as Nico and Israphel started each other down, waiting to see who will strike first. Martyn had never felt so useless. He wanted to help Nico, but he was stuck in his mind prison thing, he didn't even know what it was! he just wanted to get out so he could help. Finally Nico was the first to attack. A beam of bright light shot out of his staff, heading right at Israphel, but the albino man was just smiled and stepped out of the way.
“You are going to have to do more then that my dear if you want to kill me.” He taunted. That just made Nico even more angry and he shot another beam at the man. He dodged it again.
“You really are a weakling.” Israphel said. “I should of done away with you like i did your mother.” Martyn knew what the pale man was trying to do, but before he could warn Nico, the boy screamed with rage and lunged at his father. Israphel smiled, knowing his plan had worked, and once Nico got close enough, the man stabbed his sword right into the boys admin. He doubled over in pain.
“You… you tricked me…” He said, coughing up blood.
“Did I?” Israphel smiled. “You always did have quite the temper.” Nico fell to the ground limp. Israphel then turned toward Martyn and smiled. “Now then, where were we?” Just then though, there was a huge flash of blinding light and Martyn saw Toby standing there, or was it floating since there wasn't really any floor, there was a white glow emanating around him.
“Toby!” Martyn exclaimed. “What are you doing here. Israphel will kill you! Just look at what he did to Nico!” Martyn was scared for his best friends life, but when he saw the expression on Israphel’s face that fear went away. The man had a  look of pure horror on his face.
“No…” he mumbled to himself. “It can’t be…” Toby glance at Martyn and gave him a smile.
“Don’t worry,” he said. “I've got this.” He looked back at Israphel, who was slowing backing away. “You’re scared of me?” He asked, a smile came across his face. The albino didn't say anything, he just kept backing away. “Good.” Toby said. He then put his hand out and light started to materialize around it forming his bow. An arrow materialized in his other hand and he put in the bow and stated to aim. Israphel froze, paralyzed with fear.
“This is not how it’s suppose to end!” The man yelled. “I was just trying to earn my freedom! Ya! That's all!” Toby’s smile faded and he aimed the bow at him.
“Shut up.” he said. and let the arrow go, and as it hit Israphel both the man and the arrow dissipated in a flash of light. The Toby turned to Martyn again and smiled. “I told you I got it.”
